Our meeting point varies but it is usually Metrocentre Bus Station, Gateshead Interchange or Haymarket Bus Station, Newcastle.

Once a month we use our bus and metro passes to travel (1 hour maximum) to a different destination. We usually walk about 7 miles enjoying a picnic lunch enroute and a welcome cup of tea or coffee in a café at the end of the walk.

We are a group of lively, friendly members who enjoy being out and about exploring the various urban, rural and coastal areas of our region. Good walking boots and waterproof clothing are necessary as we walk on a variety of footpaths, waggonways and tracks throughout the year.
