The Derwent Valley u3a have a regular meeting for the whole branch on the 2nd Monday of the month at 10 am. The venue is St Mary's Centre, Church Chare, Whickham. The meeting offers an opportunity to socialise over a cup of tea or coffee and group leaders are on hand to sign up members for future outings or answer queries.
