The Theatre Group meets on first Thursday of the month at 1.30pm to 2.30pm in the back room at Whickham Library

We look at brochures from the Theatres and select the shows we are interested in attending. We reserve tickets in advance and pay about 3 weeks before the show. Our most popular venues are Theatre Royal, The Sage and the Little Theatre Gateshead. We sometimes have a meal before a show. A minibus is available when necessary. We occasionally go to the Playhouse at Whitley Bay and the Gala Theatre in Durham. We have also attended the Cinema at the Metro Centre to watch on screen performances from Covent Garden.

All members can add their name to the booking list at the monthly meeting.
